Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me. :la:

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Comment VS Favorites

I feel like the "favorite" button has turned into the "like" button... Back in the day, I used to feel like I got more comments than favs.  It has now reversed -- not that it's totally a bad thing, but as the artist I miss getting comments and feedback versus just favs.

When someone comments on my art it makes me think that "that someone stopped to look at the picture for more than just a moment... they actually sat and thought about what they liked (or didn't!) for a minute.  They took the time to appreciate the piece and TELL the artist what they thought."  It's a wonderful feeling.

I am starting a campaign -- Create More Comments!
If you like this idea, COMMENT, lol.  And I'm not talking about on this journal... you can, but comment on people's art more!

Update:  I have created a group... "Create-More-Comments"  Join if you wish, or not.  I haven't done much with it yet, plan to in the near future.

I've always felt that way about comments versus faves. It actually [i]bothers[/i] me when people just fave a piece rather than comment on it, because I feel like they didn't think it was worth taking the time to type up a response. That's why if I fave something, I generally take the time to comment on it as well, and I'm more likely to comment on pieces than I am to fave them.

...I don't know how much help it will be, but I've decided to redo my sig and link your journal entry in it.

Cool, cool! I may update my link now that you've made a group. I think you should re-post this entry on the group page, or something similar (a "mission statement", if you will).

I'll probably try and work on some promotional art-type things for it, when I get the chance.

I've noticed the same thing. When browsing the daily favorites, there's a lot of stuff on there I wouldn't consider art. A lot of it is stuff you'd see on icanhascheezeburger.com or something. Lot of pictures with Arial text and rehashes of memes. Its not art. Its stuff people like and then fav. There's very few actual art images that are worthy of the number of favs to get them to front page favorites.
